charitable organization that provides support to those
families in need throughout Southern Nevada. The
Foundation consists of fire department active personnel
from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Clark County, Henderson,
and North Las Vegas Fire Departments.
The Foundation provides a variety of services to
Southern Nevada communities that include: Providing
assistance to burn victims and their families, providing
assistance to children at risk that are identified by
local fire agencies, assisting in catastrophic events as
a resource to fire agencies and the community, and
furthering education and awareness of fire and life
safety.

Andrew Prendeville has been racing cars professionally
for five years. In 2002 Andrew won the prestigious SCCA
Valvoline Run Offs National Championship and was crowned
2002 co-Rookie of the Year for the entire SCCA.

Racing Laps for Best Friends

Racing Laps for Best Friends was the
brain-child of Indy Pro Series racecar driver Andrew
Prendeville. RLBF
is a program to
generate donations for Best Friends Animal Society
through Andrew Prendeville’s Best Friends #5 Indy Pro
Series racecar. Andrew has donated the signage on his
racecar for the entire 2007 Indy Pro Series schedule.
An new concept, RLBF generates donations based upon the
number of laps that Andrew Prendeville completes for
each race event. Donators simply use a credit card and
choose a dollar amount to pledge per lap that Andrew
completes. At the end of the race, that amount is
donated to Best Friends Animal Society.
Best Friends Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society is the largest animal
sanctuary in the nation, located in Kanab, UT. Best
Friends believes that how we treat animals, the Earth
and each other is the best reflection of who we are as a
society. We focus on animals that are injured or
abandoned, have special needs, or are considered
“unadoptable” by others. Best Friends provides expert
medical care, rehabilitation services, behavioral
assistance and emergency aid when necessary.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department -
Officer Hernandez
(Website no longer available since officer's
recovery)
Officer Hernandez of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police
Department was shot during a shootout with suspects he
was pursuing and survived despite traumatic injuries.
Due the national attention brought to this incident, the
LVMPD contracted with Snelling Web Development to
produce a website that would keep the public updated
with his latest medical condition as he recovered and
instructions on how to submit donations.
SNELLING WEB DEVELOPMENT designed and
produced the website in 1 day and donated the site to
Officer Hernandez and the LVMPD free of charge.
